Installation Specialist

We have an immediate need for a motivated full time installer to join our team.

Overview:

Service and install customer signs off site, while always maintaining a professional manner, and adhering to Company safety standards and policies.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Represent Landale Signs best interested by meeting directly with clients on site.
  • Lead hand on our installation crew (generally a crew of two).
  • Managing and training your partner with best practices.
  • Proper maintenance of equipment, tools and inventory.
  • Efficient and safe installation of interior and exterior signage.
  • Ensure sign projects are installed on time and budget with minimal obstacles and interruptions.
Skills Required:
  • Excellent problem solving and planning skills.
  • Great carpentry and construction related skills .
  • Demonstrated competency operating various types of tools and equipment.
  • Clean and valid Alberta driver’s license.
  • Not afraid of heights .
  • Independent and able to work with minimal supervision.
Skills Preferred: (considered additional assets)
  • Sheet metal skills
  • Electrical skills
  • Oxygen / acetylene cutting torch
  • Operation of crane truck and man lift truck
  • Reading and understanding drawings and blueprints
  • Sign Service and Installation Technician Certificate (SSIT)
Working Conditions:
  • Outdoors in all temperatures and conditions.
  • High in the air (in a lift, on a ladder, etc.).
  • Work is mostly all off site.
  • Out of town travel is required.
